  In addition to the cooked food there is a good range of dry and chilled food to buy and cook yourself.

  It's clearly a community cafe, with a library and a lot of vegan/pro-animal leaflets which is great! To save plastic local eaters rent Tupperware boxes from the owners to bring them back which is a great idea. The menu is constantly being worked on; when we visited they experimented with chocolate-raspberry muffins, of which we got a free sample. I hope it's now firmly on the menu as it was pretty great! ^_^

  Just over the road from El Charco lagoon, this is a small family run vegetarian restaurant/shop. It deserves to be busier, and is better and cheaper than many restaurants around the lagoon.

  Very friendly little place with vegan sandwiches/burgers plus gratins, veg paella, falafel and 'quiche' - craft beer in the fridge and a huge range of seitan/tofu products to buy and take home.

  We asked for "one of each" and thus sampled 95% of the menu. All of which was alright, but not jaw-dropping. Decent food, a lot prepared from pre-made products that are also sold in the store, which I presume is one of the reasons why it was rather expensive. While a huge sandwich in the nearby Papa Miguel costs EUR2.5 and could be your whole dinner, here you'd pay about EUR10-13 .

  The restaurant is larger than it appears as there is a staircase to the second floor with additional tables there. Unfortunately it's not wheelchair accessible, as even the front door has a step up.

  This is a worthwhile place to eat, and makes a pleasant change even if you aren't vegetarian.

  I went here one evening in April 2017. I'm not vegetarian, but enjoy the food for a change. The main I had was delicious. I chose from the onsite prepared dishes in the display cabinet after the lady explained what they had. I also had a fruit tart later, but found the base and crust very hard, but still tasty. They stock beers and non alcoholic beverages too.
